Maybe you struggle with feeling unworthy of love, or maybe your life is without meaning. What is God's intention for His people in Jesus? With all the ugliness, suffering, and darkness in this world, it's quite difficult to see that God is in charge. The Kingdom Story continues this Saturday at 10:45, with a message about what Jesus revealed about the Kingdom of Heaven, and what it means for us today. Is the Kingdom of Heaven some far off place that we can anticipate in the future? Or is it something we experience today? What did Jesus reveal about the Kingdom of Heaven in His earthly life, and what is our place in God's Kingdom?

All stories have an ending. When it comes to the end of all things, what sort of picture does the Old Testament paint? Is it an ending with hope? Or doom and gloom? In this last look at the Old Testament in the Kingdom Story series, pastor Nate will be leading us through what we find there regarding our future. See you at Gladstone Park this Saturday at 10:45!

Many of us are longing for something better than what we are facing in our day to day lives. Do you know what it means to wait on the Lord? For some 400 years, the post-exile people were waiting for the promised Messiah. But what sort of figure were they expecting? Upon what promises did they place their hope? Can the waiting of Israel for their King inform us in waiting in hope today? Pastor Nate will be leading us through a message called "Messianic Promises" as part of the Kingdom Story series. This weekend, we continue our Kingdom Story series with a look at the return of the Israelites from exile. Sometimes when we think of church or the Christian life, we think of performance. Doing the right things, the right way. Making sure everything is nice and professional. Is this really what God wants from us? Pastor Nate will be leading us through an exploration of that time period, to help us discover the application for today! Services are this Saturday at 10:45 in the Fellowship Center.

Sometimes we can feel so dissatisfied with the world we live in. In the Bible, the people of God were taken into exile by their enemies due to their own rebellion. While living in a foreign land among different gods and cultural practices, God called them to live a certain way as they awaited the promised return to their own land. As Christians, we are in the in-between reality of living in a world in which we sense things are not right, and facing the hope of eternity. Is there anything we can learn from the people in exile?
